Supporters of Loretto continue to give back to the school by providing the students with financial aid to attend Loretto Academy.

The Loretto Scholarship Luncheon is a way for donors of Loretto to get to know the students they are supporting on a personal level.

The girls receiving financial aid are chosen by Sister Buffy to attend the luncheon and get to know their donor.

Junior Arissa Ramirez said, “It [the Scholarship Luncheon] made me thankful, honestly.

“It also made me understand the sacrifice my parents made for me.”

Talking to the donors allows for both the student and donor to connect with one another face-to-face.

Ramirez said, “I met my donor and he asked me questions about my time at Loretto.

“All the donors at my table were so sweet and we had the most interesting conversations.”

Without the support of the donors that give to Loretto Academy students, many students would not have the opportunity to continue to thrive at this school.

The Loretto Scholarship Luncheon truly provides a heartwarming connection between both the student and donor.
