December 16, 2019
Harry Styles released his sophomore album Fine Line on December 13, and fans are left nothing but speechless.
Two years have passed since Styles released his first solo self-titled album after being in pop sensation boy band One Direction, which took its hiatus in 2015.
To celebrate the release of his album, Styles gave a one-night-only event at The Forum in Los Angeles.
Tickets for the event were only $25 and were released on November 8.
Tickets sold out within minutes for this event.
The concert included surprise guest, Stevie Nicks.
Senior at Loretto Jacqui Porras attended the concert at The Forum.
Porras said, “The energy he brought to the whole Forum made it feel like the stage was shaking.
“He’s not just an amazing singer but an amazing performer, and he knows how to get a crowd hyped up.”
Styles’ new album has been long expected by his fans.
He first released his single “Lights Up” on October 11.
Styles did not announce the release; he took a different approach and put out posters saying “Do You Know Who You Are” in places such as London, Sydney, Los Angeles, England, and more.
Later Styles was on double duty on Saturday Night Live as he hosted and performed on November 16.
During his performance Styles sang his new song “Watermelon Sugar,” which was released at the same time as his performance.
Styles took a different approach to release his song “Adore You” on December 6.
He created a fictional island called “Eroda,” which is adore spelled backwards, to film his music video for his new song.
His new album is different from his previous album.
In an earlier interview on Later…with Jools Holland, Styles was asked to describe his album.
He said, “Typical stuff really, like being sad, having sex and stuff.
“It’s what everything’s really about.”
He also described his album as a lot more different than the last one.
Styles said, “I had a lot more fun making it.
“I think the first record, I was subconsciously making any fun songs.”
His new album includes 12 tracks.
The 12 tracks are all different and unique in their own way.
The album includes uplifting tracks such as “Treat People With Kindness,” “Golden,” and “Sunflower, Vol. 6.”
Styles has released his tour dates for his upcoming tour “Love on Tour.”
Tickets are now on sale.
