On March 15 Loretto hosted the annual career day where different professionals come and speak to the students.

During Career Day we heard about all the amazing and powerful things we can grow up to be.

On Career day, eight women  and two men spoke to all classifications beginning with sixth graders all the way to the twelfth graders about their careers and their journeys to get to where they are now.

The presentations began with Estefania Seyffert, a weekend news reporter at KTSM and former Loretto graduate.

The classifications later diverted to their different speakers.

Some of the different speakers were Becky Montes who graduated from Loretto in 2001 and works in marketing now.

There were two speakers from the Navy, one was a female and the other was a male who graduated from Cathedral in 2018.

They spoke about different aspects of the Navy and their different ranks.

There was a speaker who wrote a book and he is in charge of taking care of a shelter for those who need it.

There was four different women who were in different places of protection for the United States.

The women were : two police officers, one firefighter, and one border patrol agent.

They talked about their experiences in the force and how it is being a woman in the force.

The day ended with Gabriella Gallegos, a former Loretto graduate who holds triathlons and spoke about how every journey does not have an end, but rather twists and turns.
