Senior-alumnae luncheon

For many years, a Loretto tradition keeps taking place.

The senior alumni luncheon, is an opportunity for seniors to bring a graduate student from Loretto Academy and have lunch together.

This year, the luncheon took place in the Radisson Hotel at 12.30 on April 3, 2019.

This luncheon was a great opportunity for Loretto alumni to share their experience and talk about their life at Loretto, and most importantly, they had the opportunity to share their accomplishments after they graduated as wells as some tips they may have about college, jobs, and life.

Ivana Bayona, senior alumni, said, “My experience was great, I thought it was wonderful to be reunited with some of my classmates as well as being able to see all the generations that have lived through Loretto and have helped build its values and traditions.

Its purpose was to bring many generations of strong Loretto women together to see how it keeps touching women’s hearts”

During the luncheon, Sister Buffy shared some words, as well as Ava Moreno and Dinorah Martell.

Seniors also had the opportunity of hearing some words of advice from Judge Kathleen Olivares who shared past experiences and her journey as a judge and Loretto graduate.

This tradition proves how Loretto sisters keep bonding even after they graduated, and by attending Loretto you have a family for the rest of your life, and also that we are sisters even though we graduate in different years.
