The Annunciation House is in charge of accompanying the migrant, homeless, and economically vulnerable since 1978.

Recently, they have received many migrants seeking asylum here in the United States.

The asylum house provides hospitality to an uncountable number of families every week and also provides the necessary needs such as food, clothing, and hygiene products.

Loretto has been doing its best to provide the necessities to migrants by donating a variety of products such as blankets, toilet paper, water bottles, etc.

Recently, the sophomores gathered together to make sack lunches and take it to the migrants.

Loretto senior Ivanna Gonzalez said “It is one of Loretto’s core values to help the community and it is truly satisfying to help out the community of El Paso as well as the migrants.”

Loretto seniors organized a pizza drive to take 95 boxes of pizza to them by asking seniors for a pitch of only $2.
