This year, the annual Nun Run will be held at Loretto Academy on February 2, 2019.

Seniors are in charge of organizing the annual Nun Run.

Each girl had to sell at least 5 forms for the Nun Run.

The seniors get the chance of completing their service hours by organizing and attending the Nun Run.

Karla Medina, a senior at Loretto, said “I’m very excited to participate in the nun run and being able to contribute to such a good a cause.”

The seniors get divided in different committees to organize the event so that everything turns out perfect.

The different committees consist of goodie bag, sponsors, route community, registration, and publicity.

This is a very important race to Loretto because it is a bonding time for all the seniors at the time of organizing it.

It is also an opportunity to have fun along with our friends, family and staff members.

All the money collected in the Nun Run goes to the sisters of Loretto at Pakistan, they run a school that is limited in academic resources, the money raised will be be given to them in order to help continue running their school.

Even though organizing this big event may be stressful, at the end it is all worth it as the Loretto community gathers together to raise money for something meaningful.
