This year’s annual Senior Retreat will be held February 6, 7, and 8 at the Holy Cross Retreat Center in Las Cruces, New Mexico.

The senior retreat has always been a tradition at Loretto Academy, it is a bonding opportunity for all the seniors to reflect on their years at Loretto.

Loretto Senior Camila Rodriguez said, “I feel like the senior retreat is going to be a very nice and fulfilling experience.

It’s a Loretto tradition I am grateful of being part of.

I am really excited to getting to know my classmates a little bit better and I look very forward to it.”

All the senior sponsors are attending the senior retreat.

The girls will be transported by bus and they will share rooms, this makes the bonding experience stronger.

Mrs. Pasaret, head senior sponsor, said “I’m very happy that the tradition continues.

I’m very happy that the work Sister Eileen started is being passed on.

It was one of the best experiences that I had as a student, and now as an alumni I encourage all the seniors to take part in it, they won’t regret it.

They will get closer to God, they will learn more about themselves and their classmates, and it will be one of the best experiences of Loretto Academy.”

Seniors participate in many surprise activities, go to mass and have plenty of time to pray and reflect.

The girls have an opportunity to strengthen the sisterhood and their relationship with God.
