Walking in a WinterFest!
December 18, 2018
Walking in a winter wonderland is nothing compared to walking in El Paso, Texas’ WinterFest!
The festival is located in downtown El Paso, 125 Pioneer Plaza, in which it began on November 18 and will continue through January 6; it is presented by The Hospitals of Providence and Providence Children’s Hospital.
WinterFest has an ice skating rink where people can shred some ice with their amazing figure skating technique or have a laugh with their friends on their amateur moves.
The festival provides a walk among the stars with gold lights in the trees and walkways at San Jacinto Plaza where people cuddle up with their significant others on the illuminating exeperience.
People can take pictures with their polaroids or phones in front of the massive Christmas tree adorned with a variety of ornaments or in a spherical tunnel that is enlightened by gold and white Christmas lights.
It is the prettiest sight to see as people also pose in front of holiday structures to take pictures in front of either a bright green present, a shining red star, or a crystal blue ornament.
The fest also radiates warmth in this fifty degree weather as there are hot chocolates sold for $4.00, pan de natos or s’mores sold at $3.00, or even coffees and churros!
Winterfest also offers an ice skating ring that is bound to be a lot of fun!
No one should miss out on WinterFest as it provides a true Christmas spirit and a wonderful experience to produce a memory.
The festival is open from Monday through Thursday at 4:00PM to 10:00PM and is open on Friday from 4:00PM to 11:00PM as well as Saturday from noon to 11:00PM and Sunday at noon to 10:00PM.
It will be available to the public on Christmas Eve, Christmas day, New Year’s Eve, and New Year’s Day.
