My name is Mia Badillo, and I am a senior at Loretto Academy.

I am a lifelong El Pasoan and have attended Loretto Academy since kindergarten.

This is my second year as a journalist and Co-Editor-in-Chief for The Prax.

I have enjoyed staying informed on current events and sharing them with my family, friends, and classmates.

In my spare time, I volunteer with the Animal Rescue League of El Paso by assisting with adoption events, animal transports, and social media advertising.

Watching sports is my preferred type of entertainment and adds a lot of enjoyment (and stress) to my life.

In the future, I hope to become a registered dietician, and I plan on utilizing my career to give back to the El Paso community.

As Co-Editor-in-Chief, I hope to feature topics that involve hometown heroes, animal welfare, and environmental awareness.

I am looking forward to creating a reliable source of information for students with a team of creative and intelligent young women.
