The first day Donald Trump was elected into office he started to enforce his presidential agenda, Project 2025.
Project 2025 focuses on reshaping the federal government as well as favoring power to the right wing.
Project 2025 also intends on banning biological males from competing in women’s sports and cutting the growth of government spending to reduce inflation.
President Trump also withdrew the United States from the Paris Climate Agreement and the World Health Organization (WHO) within the first few hours in office.
The Paris Climate Agreement aims to reduce greenhouse gasses and limit global warming.
WHO strives for connecting nations to promote health and assist the vulnerable.
According to The Guardian, more executive orders have been signed since his first week back in office such as: implementing tariffs on imports from Mexico, China, and Canada, ending birthright citizenship, renaming the Gulf of Mexico, and creating a policy recognizing only two genders.
Amidst all of President Trump’s implementations, he also wants to eliminate hundreds of programs and agencies with more than 50 in the Environmental Protection Agency.
According to USA Today, his first budget cut proposals identified 62 departments which included the Department of Transportation, Department of Commerce, and Department of Justice.
The Department of Education is the first agency in which Trump has wanted to eliminate because he plans on improving education by moving funding and control back to the states, in hindsight this can affect parents and children in low populated areas.
From cutting costs of funding to various agencies, Trump continues to reshape the federal government by implementing a new department.
Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) aims for deregulation and maximizing governmental efficiency and productivity.
Elon Musk, CEO of Tesla and X, was put in charge of DOGE although the White House denied that Musk is a DOGE administrator or employee.
Funding for government agencies being cut as well as being removed is the start of no federal government whatsoever.
The continuation of orders being signed and executed can only lead to a new version of the United States, one which people may favor or not favor.
