Loretto Academy, meet the future of Loretto soccer, Andrea Palm!

Andrea is a freshman, and this is her first year at Loretto.

This year, she has already made a huge impact on the school, especially on the soccer field.

Her soccer coach, Mr. Nieto, had a lot of positive feedback about her performance this season.

Nieto said, “Andrea is very coachable; she really listens to what we tell her.

There are a number of things that make Ms. Palm an excellent soccer player; one thing is her dedication.

She always shows up to practices, team meetings, and is willing to step in for her teammates through the game.”

Although Palm is a freshman, it is evident that she is a leader to those around her.

She has been passionate about soccer ever since she was little.

Palm said, “I started playing as a kid, then played with my school, St. Matthews, and now I’m with Cosmos FC.

One of the reasons I enjoy playing for the Loretto soccer team is that I get to represent my school and spend time playing the sport I love with my wonderful team.”

Palm plays as a forward and is unstoppable with the ball at her feet.

She suffered an injury this season, but that did not stop her one bit.

Her teammate, and Loretto soccer team captain, Sophia Merjil, said, “She is one of the most confident players on the field.

She showed her leadership skills, especially when she played through her injuries and still managed to put points up for the Angels.”

Even though the soccer season is coming to an end, Loretto can’t wait to see what Palm has in store for next year’s season!
