Chunky Monkey Banana Bites:

These healthy bites are perfect for wanting to be healthy but are craving something sweet.

  • 3 sliced bananas
  • 1 package of chocolate chips (chocolate of your choice)

  1. Cut the banana into slices and set aside half of the slices and arrange the other half on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  2. Microwave peanut butter on low/medium for 30 seconds to 1 minute, stirring in between, until smooth and easily spreadable.
  3. Spread the peanut butter on one of the banana slices and place the other half on top.
  4. Freeze for two hours
  5. Grab the chocolate of your choice and melt it in a microwave on low/medium heat for 30 seconds until the chocolate is melted.
  6. Remove two to three bites from the freezer.
  7. Dip them in the melted chocolate one at a time, then “roll” them in chocolate with two forks to cover all sides.
  8. Place on parchment paper and put back in the freezer.
  9. Once they are frozen (but not too frozen) take them out and enjoy.
