As farewells are nearby, the final orchesis performance is prepared for the end of April.

Choreographed by Ms. Cortez, it is the first of many for freshmen, but the last performance for seniors.

After a two-year hiatus, they kicked off the 2021-2022 school year with performances in the evenings and during assemblies.

Familiar faces such as Senior Carolina Benitez are able to perform for Loretto Academy on stage one final time.

New dancers such as Freshman Kylin Aguirre, Sophomores Angelica Castorena, and Leila Morales are able to perform this year after not being able to for two years.

Freshman Kylin Aguirre said, “with dance recitals this Friday, we are super excited to perform what we have been rehearsing for.”

Unlike freshmen, Senior Carolina Benitez is saying goodbye to orchesis here at Loretto Academy.

Carolina Benitez said, “I am ready to close this chapter of dance in my life, and start a new one in college.”

Orchesis has a surprise for the Loretto students regarding their performance, but they can expect something new and exciting to close this year.

The orchesis performance is scheduled for Friday, April 29th, at 6:30 pm for students and parents to attend.
