On November 2nd, 2021, visitors from St. Joseph’s came to spend a day at Loretto Academy, a tradition known as the  ‘Taste of Loretto”.

The St. Joseph Middle School students came to experience the daily schedule of a Loretto girl.

“My thoughts on Loretto is that it’s known to be a good prepping school for college, and I’ve heard the students here do well,” said middle school visitor, Karla Gallardo.

Many of the visitors were assigned a Loretto student from different grades to guide them to each class.

They had attended together and got a look at the campus.

Laura Olvera-Escobar, a former Don Haskins Middle School student, said Loretto was different from her past schools.

Escobar said, “I plan on attending here(Loretto) because my whole family came to this school, I have a lot of friends here, and it’s really religious.”

The visitors were taken in by Loretto students and welcomed by the Loretto community.
