Once the scoreboard ran out of time, the Stanford girls ran to each other and hugged in celebration. With smiles and tears on their face, the crowd sees the team’s emotion and happiness.

NCAA Women’s Basketball had an amazing season filled with happiness, frustration, along with enjoyable and sad moments.
The teams that made it to the 2021 NCAA women’s final four were South Carolina vs. Stanford and Arizona vs. UConn.
To finish off the season, Stanford defeated Arizona 54-53 and claimed their third ever championship title on April 4, 2021, in San Antonio, TX.
It was a close game and an amazing effort from both teams!
After the season’s championship game came the WNBA draft, held on April 15, 2021.
American college players must be at least 22 years old, graduated from a four-year college, and finished their college eligibility to enter the draft.
The draft featured three rounds in one night and had a total of 36 total picks made. A few great players, eligible for the draft were Finland’s Awak Kuie, Arizona’s guard Aari McDonald and Texas center Charli Collier.
Charli Collier was the first to go in the 2021 WNBA draft to the Dallas Wings.
We look forward to seeing these women play great basketball and have a great season for excited fans!
