Life is full of blessings and opportunities that are easily taken for granted.

The Coronavirus has definitely taught people to be appreciative and be thankful for the gifts God gives every day.

Happiness can be found everywhere and is different for everyone.

Principal Mr. Silva said, “The senior class brings me joy when I see them come together and live out the four core values.”

“This class came in as freshman my first year as principal here at Loretto and have shown me the characteristics of a true Loretto woman.”

“The girls have a voice and take pride in what they believe in.”

“Educating people and reading also bring me joy.”

Setting goals and breaking bad habits can lead to a productive and healthier lifestyle.

Spanish teacher, Mrs. Camacho said, “Teaching in a pandemic is not easy but as I got the hang of it and adapted, it was nice to reach out to my students and help them in various ways, such as through in-person or virtual classes.”

Finding what makes the heart skip a beat does not have to be school-based, it may be in the community, family, or friends.

Social studies teacher, Mrs. Metcalfe said  “My joy this year was spending time with my kids and husband.”

“During quarantine, my husband did not travel as much so it was nice to have family time for a couple of months.”

The diversity of a person’s mindset from another is interesting because not everyone is the same.

Social studies Mr. Gad said, “The Brooklyn Nets bring me joy because they have a really good team this year.”

Whether it is through school, family, or sports, finding what makes you happy is what’s important, even if it’s a little thing.
