The month of April is usually filled with fun activities and traditions for the classes at Loretto Academy to enjoy.

This year, things are very different.

The breakout of the COVID-19 has led to the cancellation of many events, including the beloved tradition of Ring Rose.

Ring Rose had started to be planned by Loretto Academy in celebration of the seniors and juniors.

However, Texas Governor Greg Abbott issued an executive order for people to stay home and that schools would remain closed until further notice.

Now it is up in the air to see if Ring Rose is cancelled or simply postponed; it all depends on the severity of the coronavirus in the coming months.
