The Spanish classes at Loretto are cooking up a new way to learn the language.

On February 13, 2020, the Spanish class made deviled eggs.

Both Señora Gonzalez’s class and Mrs. Camacho’s class joined together to assemble the eggs.

Junior Christie Moreck said, “The reason we cooked in Spanish is to learn Spanish in a different way.”

In any classroom where you are learning a new language, the first thing that is taught is how to converse in that language.

However, writing and reading the recipe provided a new way to learn the language.

The Spanish classes are not done cooking yet; they are still planning to do more recipes in the future and are looking forward to expanding their knowledge in the Spanish language!
