Among the amazing Loretto traditions, Nun Run ranks at the top of the list.

Every year, each class is given a form in order to participate in the Nun Run; the class that turns in all their forms gets to have the Nun Run shirt in their class color.

Each class sponsor is very competitive and wants their class to win.

In the past, Mrs. Kimpell’s class, the class of 2022, had won; however, this year the junior class won.

Ms. Franco, the sponsor for the class of 2021, urged the class to collect their forms first so the juniors could fill out and turn in their forms and win.

Junior Christie Moreck said, “I was very excited when I found out our class had won the Nun Run.

“I was very proud of everyone because we all put in a good effort and it worked out because we won.”

Moreck was not the only one who felt excited that their class had won.

Junior Amanda Torres said, “I was really, really excited because we had never won before.

“There was this big rush to see if we won or if we hadn’t won… and we won!”

The Nun Run, which was on February 22, 2020, was full of juniors proudly sporting their class color on their Nun Run t-shirts.
