This past movie-going season was full of heavy, heartfelt, inspiring, and extraordinary motion pictures.

Towards the end of the year, the box office seems to be overloaded with new blockbuster releases and big feature animations.

It has come to the attention of most movie consensus that this is because of all the awards and A-list events that begin in December and end in February.

Because of this, there tends to be an influx of heavy emotions on screen during the fall and winter seasons.

Yet, the opposite effect takes place during the spring and summer months.

There tend to be more family-friendly movies about homecomings, new love, friendships, and living an adventure.

So keep an eye out for these observations this movie-going season, and let The Prax know what you think of your movie experience!
