Remembering R.J.: Photo gallery

On May 29, 2019, the Loretto community lost one of its most beloved members, Raymond James “R.J.” Bustillos.

However, his memory lives on in the people who knew firsthand of his compassion, kindness, and energy.

R.J. also lives on in the photographs that his loved ones kept of him.

The following are photos of R.J. beaming with his loved ones as generously provided by his mother and Loretto’s athletic director, Angela Glover.

Another way that R.J.’s memory is kept alive is through the kind words that our Loretto community has said about him.

The following are fond stories, memories, and descriptions of R.J. as told by both Loretto students and by his family.

Words about R.J.:

R.J. was Loretto’s #1 fan, and everywhere he stepped he brought joy into the lives of all who knew him.

Keep his memory alive, and #ReplenishKindnessForRJ!
