Summer Spots and Tan Lines

Isabela Martinez

Summer is almost here and what would be
better than hanging out in the best spots of El
Paso, Texas?
According to Trip101, the top spots to go to
in El Paso, Texas would be to cruise in the
Wyler Aerial Tramway or to ride the
daredevil roller coasters in Western Playland
Park!
However, if one would rather stay on the
ground than to go high in the sky, then it’s
probably best to catch a show production at
the Plaza Theater or admire creative works at
the El Paso Museum of Art.
Even a nice walk to the Downtown Artist
and Farmer’s Market would be a productive
day for the summer!
But beside the domestic locations, there are
plenty of other places nearby El Paso that one
could take a road trip to.
White Sands National Monument in New
Mexico could serve as an example as friends

and family could enjoy a day in the sun on the
curves of some white dunes.
Besides, it is only an hour away and costs
$10 per person!
Another nearby spot to plan a road trip to is
Meow Wolf in Santa Fe, New Mexico if one
likes to look at mixed media art with a hint of
alternative reality.
Mesilla Plaza is another place to take into
consideration where one can check out the
historical monument in Doña Ana County,
New Mexico while eating Wild West
Expresso ice cream.
Summer is the time to explore, and what
better way is there than to either drink a
matcha tea at El Paso’s Tippi Teas or to
discover creative art pieces at Meow Wolf!
