The Loretto senior class of 2019 is prepared for their annual senior sunrise.

This year’s senior sunrise took place on Friday May 10, 2019 at 5:30 a.m.

The sun was expected to rise at 6 a.m. so seniors were asked to be at Loretto at 5:30 a.m. ready to watch and enjoy the sunrise together.

Seniors brought blankets, donuts, and music to make their sunrise experience even more comfortable and enjoyable.

Loretto senior Paulina Chavez said “Waking up early was worth it because in the end it was fun to spend quality time with my classmates.”

The purpose of senior sunrise is for seniors to enjoy their last official high school day together, watching a beautiful El Paso sunrise.
