Six Loretto freshman competed in the annual Skov Essay Competition on Business Ethics that is sponsored by UTEP’s College of Business Administration.

This essay contest began in the 2013-2014 school year here at UTEP.

This contest serves to help students interact with the community and the ethics of the El Paso community.

The Skov Essay Competition is open to high school students from both private and public school in the El Paso area.

This year’s topic was “How curious are you, and how can you develop your own curiosity?”.

Six of our very own Loretto women applied:  Luciana Molina, Sofia Sapien, Amia Barrio, Paula Sanchez, Aurorasofia Zepeda, and Belycia Rivas.

All of them submitted and essay about creativity, business, and ethics.

First, second, and third places on the essay contest were all taken by three of our Loretto girls.

In first place we had Belycia Rivas, Aurorasofia Zepeda in second, and in third place, Paula Sanchez.

Loretto is proud of the intelligent freshmen that will later be leading Loretto in the future.
